Range Rover Sport has a beautiful cabin, with elegant styling and premium materials throughout. The seats are comfortable and provide plenty of head- and legroom, but the optional third-row seats make you feel like a sardine in a can.
Seating
The Range Rover Sport seats five people in its standard configuration, and the available third row increases the seating capacity to seven.
Leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats come standard. Premium leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, massaging front seats, heated and ventilated rear seats, a refrigerated front center console, and a heated steering wheel are available.
For securing child safety seats, the Range Rover Sport has two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats.
Interior Features
Standard features in the Range Rover Sport include dual-zone automatic climate control and the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with two 10-inch touch screens, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, satellite radio, HD Radio, a USB port, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.
The Range Rover Sport’s two large touch screens are easy to see, but they’re a bit of a reach from the driver’s seat. Additionally, the infotainment system has room for improvement. Its complicated interface takes time to master, and the touch screens can be slow to respond to inputs.
Cargo
Most luxury midsize SUVs have more cargo room than this Land Rover. The Range Rover Sport provides 27.5 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 59.5 cubes with the rear seats folded down. Those totals drop to 24.8 and 56.8 cubic feet, respectively, in the plug-in-hybrid model.
